China Paper and Paperboard Industry Review
In past 10 years the growth of China paper and paperboard industry has been slow down with the improvement in industrial concentration. China P&B industry output will remain generally stable in the near future, but the product mix will be optimized.
The overall low profitability greatly affected the growth of investment in China P&B industry. Profits of converting industry were better than paper and pulp making industry.
Selection of the Development Path of China’s Recovered Paper Industry
Outlook for Asian RCP Market
* Summary of Asian paper and board markets
* Asian RCP demand growth: history and forecast
* Future Asian RCP trade dynamics
Trends in the North America Recovered Paper: Collection/Supply and Demand from Domestic Mill Market
The large recovered paper supply collected in the US and Canada has been changing significantly over the last decade and these trends will continue. These changes are due to the way recovered paper is collected & processed/sorted as well is the use of paper/board in the North America. The presentation will cover the evolution of the collection systems (both residential and commercial/industrial/institutional) over time and the forward looking trends to expect.
China Recovered Paper Market
From January to October 2016, consumption of Chinese recovered paper has increased while the import volume witnessed a year-on-year decrease. Price in the recovered paper market started rise after the 2016 Chinese New Year. Then prices of domestic and imported recovered paper have performed well.
Commodity price increase and good demand from mills drove a warming market of recovered paper.
Balemat – Multi-parameter Quality Control of RCF Bales ZRI – Stickies Management and Fiber Recovery from Fine Screen Reject
Save Labor, Low Consumption & High Efficient Baler Machine and Automatic Waste Treatment Logistic System
KBM series Auto baler, using more efficient unit than servos, reduce energy consumption can reach 35%.
Oil pressure system-----The error of high precision parts is less 50% than our counterparts, no need to replace the internal hydraulic parts in 3~5 years normally.
Hydraulic system based on Pascal’s Principle, made multichannel high efficient oil circuits, make the equipment cycle time reduced 50%.
Innovative Technologies for Improving Recycling Papers and Invading New Application Segments
The Papermorphosis®- technology consists in 2 novel UNITS for separately increasing cross direction (CD) and machine direction (MD) elongation in paper. These are purely mechanical processes. Now the technology has been successfully tested also on recycling fiber, reaching elongation values of over 15% in cross direction (CD) or 20% in machine direction (MD). Generally mechanical properties in paper depend on furnish, head box properties and refining. Adding elongations also has the effect of increasing and/or better balancing TEA values in both directions.

RCP Demand Increase 1.76 Times in Vietnam
Vietnam is deeply integrating into world economy. Vietnam’s economy grows fast that attracts local and foreign investors.
The average paper consumption per capita in Vietnam in 2015 was 39 kg.
It is estimated that, in the coming years annual average paper consumption will increase by about 9-10%, particularly in packaging paper, the growth rate will be 11%.
Recycled Fiber in Thailand
Size of Thailand’s paper industry is around 5 million tons per year and it requires almost 4 million tons per year of recovered paper. However, the domestic collection is least than 3 million tons per year. What the country needs is to import more than 1 million tons per year of recovered paper, to develop more local recycled fiber and promote the recycling culture.
The development and trends of Japanese recovered paper industry in view of rising demand in China and other Asian countries
How could we survive in shrinking Japanese waste paper industry?
Panel Discussion II
